Dr. Steven Williams has been practicing surgery in the Treasure Valley since 2002.

“I was born and raised in Texas and attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch. I moved to Idaho after my surgical residency. I fell in love with Boise and the northwest while traveling during college. Spending time in the Idaho mountains is one of the activities I still enjoy with my family to this day. I feel very honored and remain in awe of the beauty of the surrounding area during Idaho's distinct four seasons."

Dr. Williams joined Saltzer Medical Group in 2002 and practiced as a partner for 11 years prior to joining Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise in 2012.

In May of 2018, Dr. Williams left Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and set out to establish his own independent, private practice. His ambition has been to help decrease medical care costs for patients, while establishing an office staff that is able to be more nimble and responsive to our patients' needs. Dr. Williams is grateful for all of the support he's received that has allowed this endeavor to flourish.

Dr. Williams trained in surgical residency after medical school in the late 1990’s. During that time he became an expert at laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Williams has honed and perfected the art of minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Williams is known as the surgeon of choice for Hiatal Hernia / GERD, Gallbladder, Hernia, Varicose Veins and Spleen Surgery.

Dr. Williams has utilized robotic and advanced surgical techniques for decades. Incorporating advanced surgical methods in everyday procedures reduces recovery time and dramatically benefits patients.
